Korean panel titan LG Display announced on Monday that it will raise 1.4 trillion won ($1.08 billion) via a rights offering to finance its operations.

  
LG Display plans to issue 142.2 million new common shares at a price of 9,550 won per share, selling them to its shareholders, as stated in a regulatory filing.
