Korean low-cost carrier Air Premia commenced its operations between Incheon and Honolulu on Sunday.

The route, which will continue its irregular schedule until March 4, offers four weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday based on Korean time.

The flights depart from Incheon International Airport at 10:30 p.m. and touch down at Honolulu International Airport at 11:50 a.m. local time. Flights outbound from Hawaii depart at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Korea at 8:30 p.m. the following day.

Air Premia now operates three North American routes, including connections between Los Angeles and New York.

A total of 319 passengers embarked on the inaugural flight to Honolulu on Dec. 31, Air Premia announced Monday. The airline gifted passengers with the Hawaiian specialty Kona coffee in celebration of the milestone.

“Hawaii is a getaway with high travel demand, especially during the winter season for families with children,” said an Air Premia spokesperson. “We aspire to lead the way in making long-distance travel more accessible with our cost-effective and satisfying fare offerings.”
