"A" stands for automotive while "M" stands for micro display, according to the CEO.
"From mixed reality to augmented reality and virtual reality, there will be various glass-based micro displays in the future and we'll prepare for it," Choi said.
"The 'F' in fine is for foldables. We have done the hard work on foldable displays for five to six years. From this year, there will be a new phase with the clients. 'Q' is for QD-OLED, meaning that we will do a hard work on the TV monitor business."
Samsung Display rolled out some breakthrough display technology at this year's CES, including the 360-degree-folding OLED display for mobiles dubbed the Flex In and Out.
It showcased the Rollable Flex which can unroll to five times the size of the original panel as well as the Flex Hybrid which can be rolled in as well as folded at the same time, targeting the automotive display market.
"This year will be more unexpected that 2022 and 2023, but we will do our best, trying to achieve 'I am fine. Q!."
