Both the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres will face the Korean national team ahead of the Seoul Series in March, with the Dodgers also facing the KBO’s Kiwoom Heroes and the Padres taking on the reigning KBO champion LG Twins.
Promoter Coupang Play confirmed the final schedule of exhibition games to take place alongside the MLB Seoul Series on Wednesday, with the additional games taking place on March 17 and 18 ahead of the start of the major league season games on March 20.
The Dodgers will take on the Heroes, whose Gocheok Sky Dome will be used for all of the March fixtures, in the opening game at midday, Korean time, on March 17. The Padres will take to the field later that evening as they take on the Korean national team at 7 p.m.
The Padres are up first on March 18, taking on the Twins at midday, with the Dodgers facing the Korean national team at 7 p.m. The early game could provide some intrigue, as it could pit Padres new pitcher Go Woo-suk against his former club.
The official MLB Seoul Series will then begin on March 20, with both Game 1 and Game 2 the following day scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
Tickets will be released through Coupang starting with Game 1 of the Seoul Series on Jan. 26. The Dodgers-Heroes game will go on sale on Feb. 2, the Korea-Padres game on Feb. 9, the Padres-Twins game on Feb. 16, the Korea-Dodgers game on Feb. 23 and Game 2 of the Seoul Series on March 1.
All tickets will go on sale at 8 p.m., Korea time.
