ITZY unveils 'Born To Be' tour dates with February opener in Seoul

Girl group ITZY unveiled its second world tour “Born To Be” schedule, which includes 27 cities worldwide, its agency JYP Entertainment said Friday.

The tour will begin at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa District, southern Seoul, on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.

The concerts will be the group’s first shows in ten months since the end of its first world tour, “Checkmate,” in April last year.

The second day of the Seoul concerts will be streamed live on the platform Beyond LIVE for those who paid beforehand.

The group will start the overseas leg of the tour in March, stopping at cities such as Bangkok, Thailand; Sydney, Australia; Mexico City, Mexico; and Madrid, Spain.

It will be the group’s first time holding standalone concerts in Europe, South America and Australia.

Tickets for the Seoul concerts will first open to members of its official fan club Midzy's third generation on Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. on the local ticketing platform Yes24. General ticket sales will begin on Jan. 30 at 8 p.m.

Information about the tickets for online streaming will be available in the coming days.

ITZY debuted in February 2019 as the fourth girl group from JYP Entertainment, following Wonder Girls, miss A and Twice. The group has five members: Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. It recently released its EP “Born To Be” on Jan. 8 with its lead track “Untouchable.”
