The Galaxy S24, the latest smartphone series launched in January by Samsung Electronics, has effectively raised the bar with cutting edge technology that has garnered awareness on a global scale.

The new lineup underscores Samsung’s vision of opening a new era of mobile AI, showcasing significant enhancements across various functions encompassing communication, productivity, creativity and more.

The Galaxy S24 series consists of 3 models: the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24.

The core of the Galaxy S24 series is undoubtedly Galaxy AI.

“We believe that Galaxy AI will play a central role in igniting new possibilities for the mobile industry,” Roh Tae-moon, president of Samsung Electronics’ mobile experience division, said.

The Galaxy AI provides a completely renewed user experience with revolutionary functions that can transcend language barriers to offer communication services anytime, anywhere.

The Live Translate function, which provides both audio and onscreen translation during phone calls, supports 13 languages including simplified Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese.

The service allows both speakers on the call to converse through instant audio translation, unrestricted by possible variations in their devices.

The device remembers language preferences and usages on different contacts to ensure user convenience.

This process occurs internally within the device, without the use of external cloud services, preventing security threats.

Other AI features useful for everyday activities have been integrated into the devices as well.

Users are offered instant translation services as they type and receive suggestions on adjusting their tone of speech based on the recipient when messaging.

The brief summarization function for incoming messages while driving promotes safety.

The Galaxy AI is set to aid in professional and academic endeavors.

The Note Assist feature of the Galaxy S24 series summarizes and organizes user-written notes and memos within the Samsung Notes app, adapting them to formats such as meeting logs and other templates.

It also provides automatically generated titles and brief preview summaries on covers, helping users easily and quickly access their saved memos.

The voice recording features of the Galaxy S24 series got notable enhancements.

When users record meetings or lectures using the pre-installed Voice Recorder app, the speech-to-text function transcribes it and provides a written script of the audio file.

It can distinguish and categorize up to 10 individuals speaking in the audio.

Users can promptly summarize or translate the transcribed scripts, boosting work efficiency and productivity.

Another innovation is the Circle to Search feature, which enables users to conduct online searches without the need to pause or switch applications.

By simply circling the subject, whether it be a picture or text, a search is automatically initiated.

The Galaxy S24 series also prioritizes protecting personal data.

Samsung collaborated closely with Google to make the search process even safer.

Users can personally choose online processing methods and regulate AI functions through the Advanced Intelligence options, preserving transparency while gaining more control of their privacy.

The cameras have also undergone transformations.

The Galaxy S24 series is equipped with the ProVisual Engine, assisting users in making creative projects with its AI powered camera.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Quad Tele System offers optical high-definition zoom capabilities at 2 times, 3 times, 5 times and 10 times magnifications, which allows users to capture distant subjects with clarity and precision.

With the Adaptive Pixel Sensor, users can achieve exceptional photo and video results.

The upgraded Nightography feature of the Galaxy S24 series excels in delivering clean and stable results for both photos and videos in lowlight environments, including nighttime scenarios where the zoom function is utilized.

Practical AI-assisted editing features are also present.

The Edit Suggestion function speeds up the editing process by proposing edits to the user after analyzing the photo.

The Generative Edit function corrects photos that are slanted or missing parts of the subject, enhancing imperfections for a more natural output.

Users can apply slow-motion effects to high-resolution videos using the Instant Slow-mo function.

The camera functions of the devices can also be utilized within social media applications such as Instagram.

This enables photos and videos with Super HDR resolution to transition onto social media posts flawlessly, helping everyone with the Galaxy S24 series create content comparable to that of professional creators.

The Quick Share feature, facilitating the swift file sharing of images, videos and documents, was upgraded through a partnership with Google.

Now, users can effortlessly transfer files across all Android devices and Windows PCs.

The Galaxy S24 series consists of a minimum of 50 percent recycled cobalt and 100 percent recycled rare earth materials, a first for Galaxy devices.

The packaging is made up entirely of 100 percent recycled paper material as well.

The Galaxy S24 series possesses outstanding specifications that prioritizes maintaining the best performance power.

All three models have a super smooth 120 hertz refresh rate and a highly efficient vapor chamber providing optimal device temperature.

The refined outdoor visibility of the Dynamic Amoled 2X display brings stunning visuals to life, coupled with the enhanced Ray Tracing module, opening doors to an immersive mobile gaming experience for users.

With its 6.8-inch display, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is the first in the series to utilize a titanium frame with high corrosion resistance, strength and hardness.

Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Ultra demonstrates excellent usability and fast processing speeds.

It is also compatible with the S Pen and boasts the biggest battery capacity among the series at 5,000 milliampere-hours.

The 6.7-inch Galaxy S24+ has a 4,900 milliampere-hour battery, a 200 milliampere-hour improvement over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23+.

As for the Galaxy S24, it sports a 4,000 milliampere-hour battery, a 100 milliampere-hour increase from the Galaxy S23.

The Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 are both equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor and encased in an armor aluminum frame.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is available in titanium black, titanium gray, titanium violet and titanium yellow. The Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 come in onyx black, marble gray, cobalt violet and amber yellow.
