K-pop agency The Black Label apologized for an accident that injured four on-site staff members during a photo shoot for its trainees in an abandoned factory in Gyeonggi.
Four staff — three male and one female — fell while shooting photos for the agency's yet-to-debut K-pop trainees on Wednesday afternoon.
Two were members of an outside production company hired by The Black Label, and two were The Black Label's employees, according to the agency.
“We immediately transported them to the hospital and made sure they were thoroughly checked on their injuries,” The Black Label said in a news release on Thursday.
“We promise to cooperate with the medical staff to take our utmost care for the recovery of the injured. We will take more caution so as to prevent any further on-site accidents in the future.”
The Black Label is a K-pop agency led by music producer Teddy and home to singers Jeon Somi, Zion.T, Taeyang of boy band Big Bang and actor Park Bo-gum.
Two photos that appeared to show various public figures including actress and model Ella Gross, K-pop choreographer Bailey Sok and Shinsegae heiress Annie Moon working as trainees at the agency went viral earlier this month.
The photos were not officially released by the agency, but were leaked through unknown sources, the company has said.
The Black Label aims to debut a new girl group within the first half of this year.
