SM Entertainment's newest boy band, Riize, will perform at one of Mexico's biggest pop music festivals, the Tecate Emblema, becoming the first K-pop band to participate.
Tecate Emblema will take place on May 17 and 18 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez car racing track venue in Mexico City. The festival began in 2015 and attracts over 150,000 festivalgoers each year.
Riize debuted on Sept. 4 last year with its first single, “Get A Guitar,” under SM Entertainment. The band comprises Shotaro, Sungchan, Eunseo, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton.
Apple Music and the Grammys named the band the rookie to look out for in 2024.
