Park Bo-ram, a singer who first shot to stardom through Mnet’s audition show “Superstar K 2” (2010), died on Thursday at the age of 30.

Park’s label, Xanadu Entertainment, confirmed her death in a statement on Friday.

“Park Bo-ram abruptly left our midst in the late night of April 11,” the agency said.

The funeral will be held after discussions with her family, Xanadu Entertainment said.

The agency urged the public to refrain from making speculative reports out of respect for her family and colleagues. Police are reportedly investigating the cause of death.

Park was 17 when she competed in the wildly popular second season of “Superstar K,” ultimately finishing as a Top 7 finalist. She made her debut in August 2014 with her single “Beautiful (feat. Zico of Block B),” which charted on multiple rankings that year.

Throughout her career, the singer released two EPs, "Celepretty" (2015) and "Orange Moon" (2017), as well as 20 singles, including her most recent track, "I Miss You," released on April 3.

She was set to release a full-length album this year to commemorate the 10th anniversary of her debut.
