LS Eco Energy inks $30.5 million cable deal with Denmark's Energinet
LS Eco Energy has clinched a $30.5 million deal with Denmark's Energinet to supply extra-high voltage cables.
The supply will last for three years, the Korean company said Wednesday.
The deal is LS Eco Energy's second with a Danish company this year as it inked a $13 million cable supply deal earlier in the month.
The cable supplier started exporting cables to Denmark in 2017 and ranked No. 1 in the Danish ultra-high voltage cable market along with its parent company, LS Cable & System.
Established in 1996, LS Eco Energy has two cable manufacturing facilities in Vietnam. Its exports to Europe and North America now account for 30 percent of sales.
