Singer Billie Eilish shared an exclusive video message with her Korean fans in anticipation of her new album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” on Wednesday.

The four-time Grammy Award winner sent the message, with news of her new album release and appreciation for the fans’ love, to her Korean fans’ KakaoTalk group chat room.

“It was a special event prepared when Billie expressed her wish to speak with her Korean fans,” said Universal Music Group. “We scheduled the video to be released at 12:18 p.m., in tandem with her birthday, which is Dec. 18.”

The message starts with Eilish saying “hello” in Korean. Eilish went on to say that the message is only for her Korean fans. She also said that she hopes her Korean fans will like the album and that she will be able to see them soon in Korea.

Eilish’s third full-length album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft,” is the singer’s “most magnificent work,” according to Universal Music. "It's a meticulously crafted album where the tracks are designed to be one cohesive whole. Listening to the album front to back will be a cinematic experience.”

“Hit Me Hard and Soft” comes three years after Eilish’s last full-length album, “Happier Than Ever,” in 2021. The singer last performed in Korea as part of her world tour to promote that album, performing at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, western Seoul, in 2022.
