Korea's Minimum Wage Commission holds its ninth plenary session to discuss the legal minimum wage for 2025 at the government complex in Sejong on Tuesday.
The labor side of the commission suggested a 28 percent increase from the current 9,860 won ($7.13) per hour, while management representatives proposed a freeze. The commission is required to make a decision and announce the 2025 minimum wage by Aug. 5.
