Tomorrow X Together to release collaboration song with Samsung Electronics

Boy band Tomorrow X Together will collaborate with Samsung Electronics to release a track titled "Open Always Wins" on Wednesday.

Samsung Electronics revealed a snippet of the song's guitar melody as well as a behind-the-scenes video of the song during this year’s annual product presentation event Galaxy Unpacked, held in Paris on Wednesday.

"Open Always Wins" will be used to promote the company's mobile product brand, Galaxy. The song's music video will be released on Samsung's official YouTube channel.

Samsung chose the boy band to spread the message of openness because "the positive image and message of Tomorrow X Together align with the values" that Samsung's Galaxy brand prioritizes, according to the company.

Tomorrow X Together topped the Oricon Charts with its new three-track Japanese single “Chikai" upon release on June 3. The single sold over 300,000 copies upon release, becoming the boy band's most successful Japanese single.

Tomorrow X Together kicked off its Japanese dome tour “Act: Promise” at the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday and Thursday. The boy band will perform at the Kyocera Dome Osaka on July 27 and 28, the Vantelin Dome Nagoya on Aug. 4 and 5 and the Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on Sept. 14 and 15.
