Korea Chinese Cuisine Association, Mindsground sign MOU to promote K-Chinese food

The Korea Chinese Cuisine Association and Mindsground, a local company specializing in organizing meetings, conventions and exhibitions, have formalized a collaboration by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Monday. This agreement marks the beginning of joint efforts to promote Korean-style Chinese cuisine, popularly known as “K-Chinese.”

As part of the MOU, the two organizations will co-host the 2024 World K-Chinese Cuisine Expo. The inaugural event is scheduled to be held in Korea towards the end of the year, with plans for subsequent expansion to other major countries.

Jeong Kwon-sik, president of the Korea Chinese Cuisine Association, expressed his aspiration to elevate the profile of Chinese cuisine prepared in the Korean style, emphasizing that its excellence remains relatively unknown, particularly in international markets.
