Woori Bank is accepting applications for its Campus Woori program, aiming to give outstanding participants preferential treatment when they apply for jobs at the bank.

The bank announced Monday it will accept applications for the Campus Woori program until July 30.

Around 50 students will be selected, with the program running from August to December. Applications are accepted via the bank's Woori WON Banking app.

Students selected for the Campus Woori program will form a team and create social media content to promote Woori Bank locally and globally. They will also suggest new product ideas and attend events hosted by the bank.

University students enrolled at Korean universities, except for those who will be in their second semester of senior year or taking additional semesters during the program, are eligible to apply.

This is the fourth time the bank will be running the program, and international students enrolled at Korean universities are also allowed to apply, starting with the recent program.

Woori Bank will be selecting outstanding participants at the end of the program, offering students preferential treatment in the job application review process when they apply for positions at Woori Bank. International students will be given preferential treatment when applying for internships at Woori Bank's Southeast Asian offices.

"We hope many university students that want to try new challenges will apply to Campus Woori, which broadened its boundaries," said a spokesperson for Woori Bank. "Based on the creative ideas that Campus Woori students come up with, we will try our best to create a brand image, products and services for customers in their 20s."
