Korea University announced Friday it wrapped up the 2024 International Summer Campus program.

A certification ceremony for the 2,000 students who participated in the summer school program was held at the university's campus in Seongbuk District, northern Seoul, on Thursday.

Students were able to take courses in various fields such as economics, politics and arts at Korea University. Apart from academic courses, select students were given internship opportunities. Participants also experienced Korean culture by visiting Gyeongbok Palace, going to watch baseball games and learning K-pop dances.

"Spending the summer at Korea University was one of the best decisions of my life," said Connor Christopher Foti, who participated in a summer internship during the program. "I was able to learn a lot from the internship and grow as a person."
