The notice comes in the wake of growing public fear after a Mercedes electric vehicle exploded in an underground parking lot in Incheon on Aug. 1, causing damage to a total of 140 cars in the lot and hospitalizing 23 people. Nearly 500 households were displaced following electricity and water outages.
