Trot duo Atlantis Kitsune to debut with remake of Jang Yoon-jung's 'Eomeona!'

Trot duo Atlantis Kitsune will release its debut single, “Oh My!,” on Friday.

The single is a remake of the famed 2004 trot song “Eomeona!” by singer Jang Yoon-jung.

“We maximized the catchiness and youthful energy, adding exciting rhythms and a dance break to make a joyful summer hit,” the duo’s agency, nCH Entertainment, said Friday.

Atlantis Kitsune includes members Kim So-hee and Miyu Kanou, both of whom participated in the Japanese Wowow audition show “Trot Girls Japan” (2023-24).

The name means “goddess elegantly self-assured like a fox,” according to nCH Entertainment.

Sohee debuted in 2016 as member of the project girl group C.I.V.A. She has since been part of other project girl groups such as I.B.I and The Fillette. The singer became a member of girl group Nature in 2019 and participated in its second EP, “Nature World: Code A.” Nature disbanded in April.

Kanou starred in the MBN audition show “Korea VS Japan Trot” and “Korea VS Japan Top Ten Show” (translated) in April.
