Mobile carrier SK Telecom has undertaken a project dubbed “815 Remastering” to recreate and enhance videos and audio files from before and after Korea's liberation from colonial Japan in 1945.
The project utilized a video of Seoul's streets immediately after liberation in 1945 and a national anthem recording from 1942, which is the oldest existent recording of the song.
