Samsung Card's Q3 net income jumps 20.9%, despite sales decline

Samsung Card on Friday reported its third-quarter net income of 168.7 billion won ($122.3 million), up 20.9 percent from a year earlier.
The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 223.8 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared to 186.8 billion won a year ago. Sales fell 13.6 percent to 883.3 billion won.
