Ssangyong Motor tests a vehicle that drives itself

The Korean automaker and the automotive institute has been working on the vehicle since June of last year.
According to the company, the Korando C driverless car succeeded in all its tests including changing speed, driving on curved roads and avoiding obstacles.
The automaker also held a test drive event for its Tivoli electric vehicle-range extender that the company is planning to put into mass production before 2019.
The Tivoli EVR can travel a maximum of 400 kilometers at a maximum speed of 150 kilometer per hour. On EV mode alone it can travel as far as 125 kilometers. The vehicle is equipped with a 25 kilowatt hour lithium polymer battery.
