KB Kookmin Bank releases BTS collaboration

K-pop sensation BTS collaborated with local KB Kookmin Bank to create KB X BTS Savings and the KB Kookmin BTS Check Card, which was released Thursday, and will be available until the end of this year.

KB X BTS Savings is a one-year free savings account, where users can save from a minimum balance of 10,000 to 1 million won each month with a yearly interest of up to 2.3 percent.

The bank also offers special savings account called Happy BTSday, where customers who make deposits on BTS’ debut date and the members’ birthdays will be given a prime rate of 0.1 percentage point.

With the KB Kookmin BTS Check Card, customers will receive a 0.2 percent cash return when they use the card at domestic franchise stores. Moreover, the check cards will have all of the BTS members’ faces on them.

Customers who sign up for the special savings will receive monthly messages from BTS, which can be seen through the bank’s mobile app KB Star Banking. Those who sign up by the end of July will also be given a chance to win a signed “Love Yourself: Tear” album as well as a Sony Bluetooth speaker, AirPods and more.
