Traditional Music Festival Held in Chungbuk Province
Nankye Commemoration Foundation will hold the 31st 'Youngdong Nankye Korean Traditional Music Festival' in Youngdong District, Chungbuk Province from September 26 to 30.Youngdong Nankye Festival commemorates Park Yeon, his honorary name was Nankye, who greatly developed Korean traditional music in the time of King Sejong, the fourth king in Chosun Dynasty.
During the festival, various entertaining events including a traditional music contest, archery competitions, a beauty contest and films with traditional music will be held.
