Third Seoul Air Show Delayed by a Year
The third Seoul Air Show, orginally scheduled for 2000, will in fact take place one year later. The Korea Aerospace Industries Association (KAIA) announced June 10 that it has decided to postpone the air show and to hold it from October 10 to 21, 2001.
KAIA said that it plans to hold the show every two years from 2001, adding that it made the decision because of considerations of air show schedules in other countries.
The Association has also decided to change the name of the Seoul Air Show to the Exhibition of Korea Aerospace and Defense Industries. The exhibition will not only have on display aerospace equipment - airplanes, satellites and rockets - but also military weapons such as tanks, armored trucks, and submarines.
