Opposition Raises South Korean POW Issue at United Nations

The chairman of the opposition Grand National Party's special committee on South Korean POWs and abductees in North Korea announced September 1 that he will send a letter to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees requesting a speedy repatriation of the South Korean POWs and abductees in North Korea. Kang Sam-jae added that he will also submit a resolution to the National Assembly calling for the repatriation of the captives.
