Seminar to discuss Korea as a power

Cambridge University in England will hold a seminar on "Korea as a 21st century power" from April 3 to 6, the British Embassy in South Korea said Thursday.

Representative Park Geun-hye, who recently quit the opposition Grand National Party, and Chung Un-chan, a professor at Seoul National University, will speak on Korea's economic development at the seminar, the embassy said. Representative Lee Bu-young of the Grand National Party will discuss domestic politics.

Steven Bosworth, former U.S. ambassador to Korea, Wendy Sherman former counselor of the U.S. Secretary of State, and Michael Green, head of the U.S. National Security Council's Asian Desk, will also participate in the seminar.
