Court overturns gaming ruling on underage users
The Seoul Administrative Court sided with the developer of the online game “Lineage II” yesterday in a case of NCsoft versus the Information Communication Ethics Committee, saying that the game was not harmful to teenage users. In a preliminary decision, the court nullified the regulatory committee’s ban on the game for players under 18 years of age. A final ruling is expected in two or three years.
