[Photo]Apple rolls out new items
Apple Computer Korea introduced its new products yesterday at the Westin Chosun Hotel, central Seoul.
Its mouse, left, dubbed the Mighty Mouse, can be used for both Mac and Windows operating systems, and a tracking ball allows 360 degree scrolling. Apple has also upgraded its iBook laptop, right, which now has a sudden motion sensor that detects abrupt changes in position, such as a fall, and protects the hard drive heads to minimize the risk of data loss. It also has built-in wireless local area network and Bluetooth for wireless connections to cell phones or personal digital assistants.
Apple also introduced an iPod with a color screen that can display photos. The new items will be sold in Korea later this month. By Kim Tae-seong
