Committee formed to market exhibition
Korea launched a joint committee comprising government officials and businessmen to internationally promote an annual home network exhibition, officials announced. The preparatory committee for the 2006 Smart Home Network Show, grouping the commerce, information and transportation ministries with local private firms, was launched at a Seoul hotel, the Ministry of Information and Communication said. The digital home network exhibition, held for the first time last year, is slated for May 30 at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang, a satellite city northwest of Seoul. Home network systems draw on technologies used in household appliances, communications and architecture.
