[Photo]Fourth satellite
KT Corp. will launch its fourth commercial satellite, the Koreasat 5 ― known locally as the Mugunghwa 5 ― at 12:27 p.m. today from a platform ship in the Pacific Ocean south of Hawaii. The satellite is jointly owned by the Defense Ministry and KT. The satellite is expected to have a 15-year lifespan; the entire project will cost approximately 150 billion won ($157 million).
