Grand InterContinental Seoul
To April 30: The Grand Cafe at the Grand InterContinental features a “Sushi & Roll Buffet” on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This buffet is specially designed to encourage families to enjoy a weekend dinner together. A wide selection of sushi, rolls and maki are prepared by one of the hotel’s chefs.
You can enjoy a myriad of seafood delicacies such as tiger prawn, salmon, Alaskan king crab and green mussels. Also offered are shark’s fin soup, abalone porridge, seafood so-myun, tempura udon, seafood and vegetable tempura and mero (grouper) with garlic butter. In addition Japanese-style specialties such as teriyaki eel, sea cucumber, okonomiyaki and different kinds of dim sum are at the buffet.
For desert, fresh fruit with cheesecake, pecan pie, mango mousse cake and sweet tiramisu cheesecake are all on offer.
The price is 45,000 won for adults and 25,000 won for children, including VAT and service charge.

Secretary set menus come with boxes of chocolates and a glass of champagne, and diners have a chance to win great prizes, including PIC lodging tickets, Mont Blanc pens, Babyliss hair items, wine glasses and more lucky drawings. The set menus are priced at 35,000 won to 120,000 won per person, excluding VAT and service charge.

Imperial Palace Hotel
To Aug. 31: The Familia buffet restaurant at the Imperial Palace Hotel is having an event for customers using the lunch buffet on weekdays. A 20 percent discount is available for groups with more than five adults (except on weekends and public holidays; double discount is not allowed). There will be a complimentary drink event for customers using the late seating from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays until Aug. 26. The free drink event offers a choice of wine, beer, juice or soft drinks to customers using the late buffet seating on Sundays and public holidays.
The price for lunch is 54,000 won; dinner is 59,000 won, including tax and service charge.
