1) From today, an anonymous sexual harassment reporting center will be launched and run on the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s website.

7) We plan to raise the legal penalty for rape through abuse of occupational authority to 10 years in prison and up to 50 million won ($47,000) in fines, and 5 years in prison and up to 30 million won in fines for sexual harassment.

8) With the raise in legal penalty, the statute of limitations will be also extended to 10 years and 7 years, respectively, for rape and harassment.
