Keeping up with inflation
A restaurant in the popular shopping district of Myeong-dong in central Seoul shows the price of dishes modified by hand. A bowl of samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) now costs 15,000 won ($14), up from 12,000 won. Restaurants have been raising prices since the beginning of the year to cover increased costs from labor and raw materials. [Yonhap]
