Morgan Stanley Investment Managment Korea gets new managing director

Lee Yoon-pyo was appointed the new managing director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) Korea.

According to MSIM on Tuesday, Lee will oversee the company’s asset management business in Korea. Before joining MSIM, was the senior executive vice president and co-CEO of Truston Asset Management.

Lee used to work at the National Pension Service where in 2008 he was responsible for creating the NPS’ global alternative investment program in 2008, which manages 20 trillion won ($17.1 billion).

He was also head of the NPS’ global private market investment division and head of investment strategy before leaving for Truston Asset Management in 2016.
