Could Mobis Phoebus be the best KBL team of all time?

By defeating Changwon LG Sakers 83-67 on Wednesday, the Phoebus picked up its 23rd win of the season. The victory against the Sakers was a lot more impressive as the team was missing starters Yang Dong-geun and Lee Dae-sung.
Currently, the Phoebus has a dominant lead in the KBL, a good 7.5 games ahead of runner-up Busan KT Sonic Boom. As of Thursday, the Phoebus has a seasonal record of 23 wins and four losses with a .852 winning percentage.
If the Phoebus extends its lead by one more game ahead of the Sonicboom, it’ll set a new record in terms of game difference. Not only that, the Phoebus is on track to set a new league record in the most number of wins. The current record is 44.
“It’s good to set records,” said Yoo Jae-hak, head coach of the Phoebus. “The players who set records are amazing. Once we start thinking about the records, we get stiff in our shoulders and get pressure, so I don’t talk about the records with the players.”
