NewJeans' Minji throws ceremonial first pitch — in pictures

Minji of girl group NewJeans threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Doosan Bears on Wednesday.

The 2024 KBO postseason kicked off with the Wildcard game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in southern Seoul as the KT Wiz challenged the Bears for a spot in the playoffs.

Minji has openly stated her affection for the Bears. She told a fan that she was a junior member of the Bears fan club when she was young.

"I am so happy to be able to pitch a ball for the Bears, a team that I have been supporting from ever since I was young," she said in a press release. "I will deliver good vibes as the post-season pitcher."
