3rd Line Butterfly to say goodbye

Veteran band 3rd Line Butterfly will go on a temporary break after a concert in February.

The band uploaded a poster on their Instagram account reading, “We’re here to say goodbye. You won’t want to miss!”

According to the poster, the band will hold a concert on Feb. 16 at the Convent Live Pub in Seogyo-dong, western Seoul, and will go on a temporary break so that the members can concentrate on themselves.

The concert will be followed by an after party that fans can participate in.

“We hope that it will be a chance for everyone to come and meet each other, say our goodbyes, and talk about the times we’ve shared,” the band wrote.

The band came together in 1999, and made their official debut in 2000 with their first album, “Self-Titled Obsession.”

They have been active in the Korean rock scene ever since. Their fifth and most recent album “Divided By Zero” was released in January 2017.
