Chunchon Int"l Theater Festival to Be Held Sept. 8 -12
The Chunchon International Theater Festival (CITF) will be held from September 8 to 12 in Chunchon, Kangwon province.The CITF, which commenced 6 years ago and is held every 3 years, will be staged at the Culture and Arts Center, the Children's Hall's outdoor stage in Chunchon and on the streets of Myong-dong in Seoul, under the auspices of the International Amateur Theater Association (IATA).
Seventeen theater groups from 15 countries in Asia and Europe will attend the 5-day festival.
A variety of performance genres will be staged during the event including street performances, plays and musicals.
