Jazz Musician, George Benson Coming to Seoul

George Benson's premiere Korean concert tour will take place at the Seoul Arts Center's concert hall at 8 pm on August 6 and 7th.
Benson, one of the U.S.' best representatives of jazz music, is recognized the world over as an accomplished jazz guitarist and R&B singer. He has worked with a veritable who's who of jazz greats including Herbie Hancock and Wes Montgomery.
Known primarily as a great studio musician, his first solo album 'It Should Have Been Me' was followed by the Grammy Award-winner 'Bad Benson' in 1976.
Not only a gifted composer and singer, he showed his ability at arrangement as well in 'Beyond the Blue Horizon' which instantly became a hit worldwide. The song was used as the theme song of a popular TV drama in Korea.
At his concert, he will perform his most popular songs including 'Beyond the Blue Horizon', 'Give Me The Night', and the classic 'On Broadway'.
