KBS Children's Music Show Joins TV's 'Golden Hour'

The KBS children's musical program,'Opening Up the World to Children's Songs,' will now be aired every Saturday at 5 p.m. This time is considered the 'golden hour' of Korean television. MBC's 'Music Camp' and SBS's 'Our Fantastic Saturday' are also shown around 5 p.m. on Saturday.

'Opening Up the World to Children's Songs' strives to repopularize traditional songs which have been long neglected in favor of pop music.

One member of the KBS production team noted, "In attempting to repopularize children's songs, changing our broadcast time to the 'golden hour' may be considered a masterstroke in KBS history."
