KBS Unveils Spring Programs

Korea Broadcasting System(KBS) released its new spring programming schedule on April 26.
A total of 26 new programs, 6 on KBS-1 TV and 20 on KBS-2TV, will be established.
The key feature of the new spring lineup focuses on strengthening public interest, so information and cultural programs have been increased.
Distinguishing between the KBS 1 and 2 channels is also an important point of this change. Current affairs and news programs are concentrated on KBS 1 while cultural and educational shows are featured on KBS 2.
KBS 1 producers have created an environmental documentary show, 'Environment Special'. This program is expected to be the apex of its documentary triangle along with 'History Special' and 'Sunday Special'.
On KBS 2, a magazine-style news show called 'News Today', an educational program for children titled 'Little Prince', and a historical situation drama titled 'Coming out of Secret Inspector' will premiere this spring.
Audiences will encounter a lot of info-tainment programs including 'Nam Hee Suk and Lee Hwi Jae's Looking at Korea' and 'Sports Quiz'.
