Live Performances Permitted at All Restaurants from June.

Korean citizens at last can see live performances at restaurants beginning this June.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on April 21 that live concerts will be legal at every restaurant and pub from the beginning of June.
This was made possible when the Ministry decided to exclude public performers such as singers, comedians and musicians from the entertainment business employees designation.
So far, people could enjoy live concerts only at authorized places. Similar concerts at 'live clubs' or 'jazz cafes' have all been illegal.
A source from the Ministry said, ' Since the 1970s live concerts have been limited. Nowadays lots of people enjoy them, so we decided to change our position.'
