Ministry of Education Announces Competition to Review Educational System
The Ministry of Education has invited the public participation of teachers, students and their parents for a competition aimed at helping to reform the educational system. The competition, to be held on May 31, asks participants to make comments on successful teaching practices, needed reform measures and the educational system in general.Individuals can submit entries of 20 to 40 pages in length, while groups can submit up to 80 pages. The prizes for each theme are 2 million won($1,800) for first prize or 7 million won for the group, 1 million won for the runner-up(5 million won for the group) and 500,000 won for second runner-up(3 million won for the group).
