Personalized Postage Stamps Might Be Available from October
Postage stamps which feature a customized picture, company logo and advertising will probably be available for order from October.Hwang Joong-yon, director of the Ministry of Information and Communications Friday said that it is likely to approve the issuing of the order stamps, while sticker stamps catering for younger generations may be available in 2000.
There is no additional charge on top of the regular price of 170 won (14 cents) per stamp.
The new development will respond to consumer desire to have a choice of stamp designs, and the facility has already been successfully adopted by Australia, he added.
