The Pyongyang Circus Troupe is scheduled to perform at the Chamshil Indoor Complex in Seoul from June 3 to 10.
The steering committee which invited the troupe to perform in Seoul, stated that it will be composed of 70 North Korean acrobats. It arrives in Seoul May 31 and returns to North Korea 11 June.
The troupe won first prize with its aerial acrobatics and acrobats performances in China in October last year, and also received several awards at the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival in Monaco.
The committee said that formative acrobatics, aerial acrobatics, physical acrobatics, acrobatics on ice, and underwater acrobatics will be performed.
Committee director Lee Byung said that, "With their performance following that of the Pyongyang Student Troupe, PAT is likely to further enhance the improvement of relations between the two Koreas."
