Toksugung Changing of the Guard Ceremony to Take Place Every Day

Seoul City Hall has decided that Toksugung's changing of the guard ceremony, which now takes place only on weekends, will be performed daily beginning March 25 and continuing to the end of this year. The extended performance schedule is due to the popularity of the show amongst foreign tourists coupled with Seoul City Hall's continuing push to increase tourism. However, the show will not be performed Monday due to the closing of the Toksugung Art Museum.
This changing of the guard ceremony began in 1996, and lasting 30 minutes, will be performed daily at 2:00, 2:30, 3:00.
On March 25 the opening day, Gaechonmu (A Korean traditional dance) performance will be staged from 1:30 and after the shift ceremony, a Korean traditional musical instrument performance and a Chosun martial arts demonstration will be shown.
