[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Education board voting is crucial

There is going to be an election of members of the board of education on Wednesday. However, I am worried about election irregularities, such as bribes and illegal brochures.

A member of the board of education holds an extremely important position. The member decides budgets and regulations, along with the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development for the next four years. The position affects the future of our children.

The members of the board of education are indirectly elected by some representatives of school administration board members. What worries me is that the board is made up of parents, teachers and regional deputies allowing them the possibility of affecting the election in favor of someone connected to them. Recent election irregularities have increased my worries.
