The Wimbledon champhionships have ended. I have watched international tennis tournaments such as the U.S. Open and the French Open whenever I had the opportunity, but none was as entertaining and thrilling as this year's Wimbledon. The semifinal and final matches that Goran Ivanisevic from Croatia played made all those watching the tournament shout loudly.
Watching the tournament wind down, I was deeply moved by the high level of interest and proper etiquette that British spectators showed. The British spectators filled the stands regardless of whether their country's players were competing, and they did not shy away from expressing passion and applauding all players that played good matches. The mature audience that did not budge even after the tournament was over and watched with genuine interest the awards ceremony was also an aspect to be emulated.
Let us take this opportunity to reflect on our behavior and make the necessary corrections.
