Drama / 121 min. / Korean with English subtitlesLee Jun-seop (An Seong-Gi), a renowned writer, rushes to his hometown as soon as he gets a message that his mother has passed away. He's accompanied by Jang Hye-Rim (Han Eun-Jin), a reporter looking to write a story about the literary great's life. The funeral starts, but enmity among family members deepens when Jun-seop's niece Yong-sun arrives. By the end of the funeral, however, the relatives come to understand each other as Yong-sun reads one of Jun-seop's fairy tales.
Directed by Im Kwon-taek in 1996, "Festival" will be shown every at 4 p.m. every Tuesday in December in the KNTO building, central Seoul, near Jonggak station, subway line No. 1.
