Lee Kyu-youn’s contribution to The Fountain in the May 13 edition of JoongAng Daily, in which he segued from a scene in the hit movie “Memories of Murder” to a lesson on how detectives read footprints to how corrupt politicians leave footprints, was excellent.
I was confused by the end though, when he brought up the example that snakes catch rats by sniffing out their footprints.
Mr. Lee made it clear that “politicians and senior government officials” are the rats -- but who are the snakes?
